Chinese American Schools-Alameda has made arrangements to insure that all school credits and units earned will be acceptable to USA colleges and universities. Through concurrent enrollment with CCS-San Leandro, students successfully admitted into the CAS-Alameda program will be issued I-20s so they can apply for an F-1 visa.
School administration will review applications and those candidates deemed good prospects will receive an interview. The purposes of the interview are several: 1) to go over the student’s application; 2) to ascertain the student’s expectation and goals, 3) to determine spoken English proficiency, 4) to inquire about housing and other personal needs, and 5) to assess the student’s overall suitability and probability for success in our program. Interviews will be done in person if possible, or via video or telephone conference at a minimum.
